The new Witcher game, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was recently announced via Game Informer magazine. Game Informer describes that the game is taking a radical shift from the previous games.The game is going to be open world this time around with the world being 20% larger than the one found in Skyrim. It will take an estimated time of around 30 to 40 minutes to cross it on horse back – yes, horse back riding is also in the latest Witcher.
The open world aspects also change the way the story progresses since it no longer relies on chapters or acts. The quests in the game will be varied and can range from solving mysteries to slaying monsters in true Witcher fashion. You will still being playing as Geralt although his memory is fully restored this time around. The game utilizes CD Projekt’s latest engine, CDRED Engine 3. This allowed the developers to make the next Witcher game open world – streaming tech.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is scheduled to be released on the new next generation consoles
